Biography

Sarah Thanner is a Cultural Anthropologist and is currently working as a researcher and PhD Student at the junior research groop „Physical-Digital Affordances“ at University of Regensburg as part of the interdisciplinary Media Informatics research project VIGITIA.
Sarah studied Cultural Anthropology and Linguistics at University of Regensburg and in her ongoing PhD Sarah is working towards an ethnographic account of the design and development of digital-material innovation in the field of projected augmented realities in informatics research. Her overall research interests include Science and Technology Studies, Digital Anthropology, Participatory Design Methods as well as the development of methods for ethnographic analysis of Computer Code.
