Biography

I am a Dual Major in Criminology & Justice Studies and Sociology. My current interests pertain to gentrification and crime, gentrification and community solidarity, as well as access to resources in changing neighborhood environments. My past research involvements include looking at demographics for people requesting expungements. After graduation, I look forward to Law School and becoming a criminal defense attorney. One of the reasons I am excited about working on this project is I believe understanding communities and their needs (be it social, be it in relation to energy) and the interconnectedness of those needs to committing crimes (even though the project does not explore that in specific) is quintessential to me best representing my future clients.
