the mysterious individual

quite interesting, even if -- or because -- somewhat predictable.  One thing that I continue to find interesting and a real weak point is the way that coding is, um, coded as "individual" and therefore somehow idiosyncratic and personal and unintelligible or unreadable by other individuals.  And that that is somehow settled or proven social truth, one that doesn't need to be tested or questioned or further validated.  It's a model of The Individual that seems out of synch even with traditional sociology: no collective understanding or analysis is possible of my unique perspectives.

And yet: everyone should code like I do, and converge on my coding paradigm.
Or am I overreading the contradiction/aporia here?
